About ARESA

ARESA (“Augmented Reality, Engineering and Smart Assistance”) is a platform developed by ARESA SMART SOLUTIONS to provide augmented reality and AI-driven assistance features for educational, industrial, healthcare, and smart-city contexts.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to all versions of the ARESA mobile application distributed via Google Play and other official channels. ARESA is not a social networking, dating, or communication platform and is not directed to children under 18.

2. Data We Process

ARESA only processes the minimum information needed to provide the core functionality of the application. We do not collect data unless it is necessary for the app’s features or is explicitly consented to by the user.

Types of data processed

On-device UI & Sensor Data

Contextual user interface data and device sensors (accelerometer, camera) are used locally on the device to trigger AR overlays and provide assistance.

This data is processed on-device and never stored or transmitted externally.

Diagnostics & Performance Logs

Optional anonymized logs for app performance, crash reporting, or diagnostics.

These logs do not contain personal identifiers.

Support & Safety Reports

When users contact us voluntarily (e.g., through support forms), we store the submitted information to fulfill the user’s request.

No biometric, contact list, message, call, or GPS location data is collected or shared.

3. Google Play Compliance

To comply with Google Play’s User Data policies and Data safety requirements:

• We disclose and document all data types collected and processed.
• We provide accurate information in the Data safety form in the Google Play Console.
• We do not request permissions or APIs unrelated to core functionality.
• We do not use AccessibilityService, background collection, or system-wide controls.
• We obtain user consent for any data collection beyond what is strictly required for core app functionality.

Important: If your app does not collect any personal or sensitive data, you should still indicate “No data collected or shared” in the Play Console Data safety section and link this privacy policy.

4. Legal Bases (GDPR & Other Regulations)

When applicable, we rely on the following lawful bases:

• Consent – for optional features that require explicit permission.
• Performance of Contract – to provide requested functionality.
• Legitimate Interest – for analytics and security improvements, where permitted under applicable law.

5. Data Retention & Sharing

All contextual sensor data is processed locally and is not transmitted remotely.

Support communications and diagnostics logs are retained only as needed for service delivery.

ARESA does not sell, share, or monetize user data to third parties.

6. User Controls

Users can:

• Disable optional features at any time within the app or device settings.

7. Security

We apply industry-standard encryption, sandboxed data handling, and strict access controls to prevent misuse or unauthorized access.

8. Children’s Safety

ARESA is not directed to children under 18 and does not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, we will promptly delete it.

9. Updates to this Policy
